Brief Detail: Dr Rusli’s PhD thesis examined the characteristics of road traffic crashes on rural mountainous roads and compared these with the characteristics of crashes on roads located in non-mountainous areas. He further investigated the effects of roadway geometrics, traffic characteristics, real-weather conditions, cross-sectional elements, roadside features, and spatial characteristics on Single-vehicle (SV) crashes along rural mountainous highways. Moreover, he also investigated the injury severity of road traffic crashes along rural mountainous highways.
Dr Rusli is a senior lecturer at the School of Civil Engineering, College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Selangor, Malaysia.
