PhD Title: A Task Capability Interface Model to Estimate Crash Risk for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles

Brief Detail: Shubham is a PhD candidate at Queensland University of Technology’s (QUT) School of Civil and Environmental Engineering. He had research associate positions at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Roorkee and the S V National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) in Surat, India, before starting his PhD. He is working on a PhD project to present a Task Capability Interface (TCI) model to analyze crash risk in connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) by measuring task difficulty. Specifically, his work will use the TCI model to comprehend the crash risk for car-following manoeuvre in the linked environment and the level 3 conditionally automated takeover manoeuvre (TOM).
